Mayor Woolley Is Fighting To Stop Area Towing

Mayor Woolley is continuing to fight to stop Area Towing from gouging residents.  After a Wayne County Judge ruled that Mayor Woolley cannot remove Area Towing without a vote of the City Council, Mayor Woolley immediately put the item on the Tuesday, May 6th meeting agenda.

At the meeting, Mayor Woolley will be asking the city council to rescind the 2016 resolution that the Judge ruled allows Area Towing to continue to gouge Taylor residents.   It is clear that the residents are tired of Area Towing gouging them.  The question is will Council Members Jill Brandana, Lindsey Rose, and Tina Daniels come to the same conclusion?

Over the past four months, council members Brandana, Rose, and Daniels have defended Area Towing and done everything in their power to block Mayor Woolley’s efforts to provide relief to Taylor residents.

Please come to the meeting on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30, thank Mayor Woolley for fighting for us, and ask the city council to put Taylor residents before their friends at Area Towing.
